Trap characteristics: medium-large sized traps, with very long cilia that are partially fused together. The interior can take on more or less intense red shades depending on light exposure, always maintaining a classic and functional shape.

Plant size: medium-large

Rarity: medium-high

The Dionaea muscipula “Nihasa” is a selection valued for its elegant appearance. Unlike more extreme cultivars, it stands out for its regular shape and its vibrant yet natural coloration. Ideal for both collectors and enthusiasts, it is a truly very decorative plant.

Characteristics

Very Bright Room Spring, Summer, Autumn North America

Imagine two modified leaves, joined along a central rib, that open like the pages of a book. Inside these "pages" are very sensitive hairs called trichomes. These hairs act as sensors and, when touched by an insect, trigger a mechanism that causes the trap to close.
