A beautiful Nepenthes Eustachya , a species native to Sumatra, characterised by thin, colourful pitchers that recall other climbing Nepenthes, but with the unique charm of its elegant, brightly coloured pitchers!

Characteristics

Bright but filtered light, avoid direct sunlight during the hottest hours. Tropical species, active all year round without rest. Tropical areas of Southeast Asia, Madagascar, Australia.

Pitchers contain a viscous, slippery liquid that attracts insects with its nectar and bright colors. Once they fall inside, the waxy walls prevent them from escaping, and digestive enzymes slowly break them down.
