• Appearance: A plant of great elegance, with slender pitchers and coloration ranging from light green to pale yellow. The delicately curved shapes of the pitchers give the plant a refined and harmonious look.

• Pitcher characteristics: Small-to-medium-sized, tubular pitchers with well-defined openings. The nectar spoon is well-developed, guiding insects into the interior of the pitcher. The yellow and green shades create a visually pleasing contrast.

• Plant size: Small-to-medium

• Rarity: Rare

Heliamphora pulchella is a species appreciated for its grace and aesthetic beauty. With its delicately toned pitchers and compact habit, it is an ideal plant for those looking for a refined specimen to enrich their collection of carnivorous plants.

Characteristics

They require abundant but filtered light; cultivation under artificial light or in bright greenhouses is ideal. Perennial plants that maintain growth all year round, with a slight slowdown during the warmer months. Native to the tepuis of Venezuela, Guyana, and Brazil, cool and humid mountain environments at altitudes of over 1,000 meters.

The tube-shaped pitchers collect rainwater and attract insects, which slip inside and are digested.
