• Appearance: A plant with great aesthetic impact, characterized by slender pitchers with shades ranging from light green to an intense flamingo pink, a color that gives it a unique and highly ornamental appearance.

• Pitcher characteristics: Elegant, tubular medium-to-large pitchers with well-defined openings and a developed nectar spoon. The pinkish hues intensify with good lighting, making the plant particularly striking.

• Plant size: Medium-Large

• Rarity: Rare

A fascinating cultivar, the Heliamphora “Flamingo” is appreciated for its delicate yet vivid colors, which recall the shades of a flamingo. A refined collector's plant, capable of enhancing any carnivorous plant set-up thanks to its slender habit and distinctive shades.

Characteristics

They require abundant but filtered light; cultivation under artificial light or in bright greenhouses is ideal. Perennial plants that maintain growth all year round, with a slight slowdown during the hottest months. Native to the tepuis of Venezuela, Guyana, and Brazil, cool and humid mountain environments at altitudes of over 1,000 meters.

The tube-shaped pitchers collect rainwater and attract insects, which slip inside and are digested.
