Beautiful things need a little magic (and patience!) ✨
Our plants are prepared for their journey with lots of love, quick pampering, and special protection. Therefore, we take 2 to 5 business days to prepare them as best as possible.
But don't worry! Once ready, the BRT courier is there like lightning: in 24/48 hours your plant will be at your home, ready to bring a little greenery into your life! 🌿🚚💚

Appearance: Very distinct and ornamental, its very rapid growth and size, which is decidedly out of the ordinary, make it one of the largest Dionaea in our collection.

Trap characteristics: Regular and very long cilia, traps of a size decidedly out of the ordinary that easily exceed 5 cm, reaching up to 5.7 cm without using any fertilizer!

Plant size: Giant

Rarity: High

The Dionaea muscipula “Prometeo” is a plant selected directly by Caput Mundi Labs for its extraordinary dimensions, which give it a titanic appearance with a stature and size that are, to say the least, gigantic!

Characteristics

Very bright room Spring, Summer, Autumn North America

Imagine two modified leaves, joined along a central midrib, that open like the pages of a book. Inside these "pages" are very sensitive hairs, called trichomes. These hairs act as sensors and, when touched by an insect, trigger a mechanism that causes the trap to close.

Dionaea muscipula Prometeo (Caput Mundi Labs)
Exposure

This plant requires a very bright environment all year round, seeking shade during the hottest hours of the summer months.
Watering

Constant water in the saucer 2/3 cm, IMPORTANT: always use distilled water
Temperature

The Dionaea muscipula (Venus flytrap) comes from bogs located in North America, so it lives in a temperate climate with hot summers and cold winters. This plant is accustomed to living exclusively outdoors, from spring until October; the Dionaea m. will grow vigorously and then slow down in winter, but don’t worry, this is normal!
Cleaning

Gently remove any dead leaves or remnants of digested prey to prevent mold and keep the plant healthy.
